Cleaning Up Day #2

We demolished a broken pew that was in their Sunday School room. Then we dragged it outside.

There was still some sweeping to do...

And the floor had a lot of paint on it. So we had to take some steel wool and paint thinner to it.

Everyone was crawling around on the floor with rags for about an hour. The floor looked great at the end! We also did the same on the wooden church pews. We followed the paint thinner with Murphy's Oil Soap on every wooden surface. It made the place smell great and look wonderful!

CSCL Cleaning Day #1

Before we could begin painting the basement of Little Rock Church, we had to clean it! That meant all of the toys, chairs, and random objects had to be moved out; the floor had to be swept; every surface had to be cleaned; and the windows and window sills needed to be cleaned.

CSCL Painting Day #1

After we got everything cleaned up, it was time to paint! We painted the walls and the wainscoating in the sanctuary. We also tackled the basement and painted all of the walls and the ceiling white. We painted the shelves blue.
