You Think *Your* Family is Weird???

Tonight we met in the youth room for dinner, a game, some drama and discussion. Tonight's topic was all about families--our crazy, mixed up, imperfect, definitely NOT normal families....

Read 1 John 3:11-20

1. "Whoever does not love abides in death. (v. 14)" What do you think that means?

2. How can our words and actions be similar to murdering someone?

3. What are some examples of ways we can give up our lives for family members?

4. What does it mean to love someone with only your words?

5. What does it mean to love your family with only your actions?

6. What does it mean to love others with the perfect love of God?


Challenges for the coming week:
a. Drop the word "hate" from your vocabulary
b. Use your words and actions to show love to each member of your family this week
c. Pray for your family members each day this week
