Youth Sunday...the Saga Continues!

Here are some decisions we made last night:

We will wear Jeans and bright, solid colored shirts (not white, black, brown, grey--a bright color!). Some of you told me what you would wear last night. That's not set in stone, but it would look funny for most of you to show up in the same color and a few others to wear different colors.

"Shackles" will be the praise dance song (Aimee, Shanay, Elle, Hannah, Sarah, B.J. will dance). B.J. will begin making some chains out of construction paper.

The Youth Choir will sing "Mighty To Save." Mae may learn the guitar chords to it to accompany us. If not (no pressure, Mae!), we will use a canned accompaniment.

Our congregational songs will be "Awesome God," "The Summons," and "Here I Am To Worship."

Parts for the Skit:
Darkness/Evil/Devil: John
Jesus: Harrison
Girl with books: Sarah
Two friends: Aimee and Shanay
Praying girl: Mae
Angels: Elle, Hannah, BJ

We will sell Save Darfur bracelets for $3 each and send the profit ($1.50 on each bracelet) to the Save Darfur Coalition. If you have friends at school who want to buy a bracelet, take an order and tell them to bring $3 to school on Monday.

John will make a Save Darfur announcement at the early service this Sunday (the Sunday BEFORE Youth Sunday) and Robert will make the same announcement at the late service.

I will have an order for worship in the mail this week. Bring it Sunday night with your comments and suggestions!
