Serving with Compassion: Small Group 1

We have two small groups at City Sights, City Lights. Here is some of the material from session 1.

1. If you were responsible for feeding 5,000 people, what would you serve?

Read Mark 6:30-44

2. What does it mean that the people were like "sheep without a shepherd?" What did the people need from Jesus?

3. What did it mean for Jesus to have compassion? How did Jesus show his compassion?

4. Is there a connection between faith and compassion?

5. How has God met needs in your life?

6. How can God use you to meet the needs of others?

7. How will you show compassion to others this week?
