Morning Quiet Time

Take a moment to read Matthew 1:18-25.
1. What does “Emmanuel” or “Immanuel” mean (v. 23)?
2. What are some choices that Mary and Joseph had to make?
3. Who came to visit Mary? What did the visitor tell her?
4. Why is it significant that Jesus is the God who is with us?
Spend a few minutes in silence—breathe deeply, clear your mind, and relax. Do you feel God with you? Pray for our trip and the day ahead!
